Constituent Report: Arkansas Association of Orthodontists

The Arkansas Association of Orthodontists held their annual business meeting, as usual, in conjunction with the Arkansas State Dental Association meeting in Hot Springs Saturday, April 8, 2006. Our regular annual meeting will again be held in Little Rock on July 28, 2006 with Dr. Jay Bowman as our featured speaker. My tenure as President will end this year and we will select new officers at the business meeting. If recent past is any indication our current vice-president, Dr. Richard Harper of Ft. Smith, will become our new president and our current secretary/treasurer, Dr. Tom Phelan of Little Rock, will move up to the vice-president position. My tenure as Arkansas representative on the SWSO Board of Directors is also ending and hopefully by the time of this meeting my successor will be confirmed.
